This year’s Festival of British Eventing – presented by The British Equestrian Trade Association (BETA) promises the now traditional and not to be missed weekend of world class horse sport combined with the best of family entertainment all in the fabulous setting of Gatcombe Park.

The Festival of British Eventing would like to announce the appointments of Peter Phillips and Ian Stark, OBE to the organisational team at Gatcombe Park.

The Festival of British Eventing has been voted Equestrian Event of the Year. The annual award, sponsored by Joules, was nominated and voted for by owners of trade stands. It was presented to event Director Tim Henson at the British Equestrian Trade Association (BETA) dinner on Sunday evening

Mary King claimed her fourth British Open Championship at The Festival of British Eventing presented by BETA. Darbys Solicitors LLP has become a sponsor at The Festival of British Eventing at Gatcombe Park, 3-5 August 2007. The Oxfordshire based law firm will, in partnership with the Event Horse Owners Association (EHOA), be supporting the British Eventing Open Championship. The British Open Champion will take home £10,000, the biggest cash prize in one-day eventing made possible by British Eventing.
